Hi there!
Happy 4th of July to those who celebrate! 🎆 Given that this issue of the newsie is hitting on a holiday for many, we’re keeping things short and sweet.
One thing I did want to shout out, though — we’re throwing a party for our West Coast friends next week!
On the evening of July 10th, we’d love for you to join us at Fête de Pierre, a Series B celebration party hosted at the stunning Shack15. We’ve got the drinks and bites covered. We just ask that you come ready to connect with founders, operators, investors, and some of the smartest people we know in ecommerce! You can learn more about the event and RSVP here.
In this week’s newsletter: 4 creative holiday sales campaigns, a super free & super powerful web scraping tool, the ultimate playbook for PDP optimization, and more.
Hope you have an awesome weekend! 🌭
Cheers,
Lex 💚

My Top 4: 4th of July Sale Features
It’s a holiday sales weekend for US-based stores, so I thought I’d use this week’s Store of the Week section to call out my top four 4th of July offers & campaigns I’ve seen so far!
This one is my favorite of the bunch. I love the creative assets, the on-brand copy, the curated sub-collections on this collection page… chef’s kiss. So playful and fun.
Without fail, Original Grain’s team knocks every single seasonal sale out of the park. They especially crush on 4th of July sales, as one of their co-founders (Andrew Beltran) is a Marine Corps veteran. This sales page is full of thoughtful creative, copy, and juicy offers.
Wuffes makes joint supplements for dogs. I love their play on words here with the sale theme. While they might have some landing pages out in the wild, they’re actually driving a lot of ad traffic to their main site, and they’ve layered this sale messaging & imagery on top.
This year, ColorWow haircare chose 4 of their best-selling products to discount at 40% for 4 days. It’s an eye-catching offer, easy to remember, and removes a lot of friction from the purchase process by limiting decision fatigue. I think this is really smart!
I’ll be updating this spreadsheet throughout the day as I come across July 4th holiday offers. If you’re running an awesome offer that you’d like featured, reply to this email & let me know! I’ll add it to the sheet. 🙂
🛍 Product of the Week
AmplifyeP24
Rarely do I feature supplements, but this one piqued my interest.
AmplifyeP24 is an enzyme supplement that claims to double your protein absorption. Essentially, it's designed to unlock more nutritional value from whatever protein you're already eating.
The P24 enzyme works by breaking down proteins with precision, increasing the absorption of amino acids and peptides. Whether you're team steak, tofu devotee, or protein powder enthusiast, this little capsule supposedly amplifies the benefits across the board.
Consumers report some pretty compelling results after 15 days: better digestion, less bloating, deeper sleep, mental clarity, and improved muscle recovery. The idea is that by actually absorbing more of the protein you consume, your body can put it to better use.
For anyone already investing in high-quality protein sources, adding an enzyme to maximize absorption might just be the missing piece of the puzzle.

The Compete 2025 Guide to PDP Optimization
Here's a stat that should grab your attention: PDPs are the #1 most visited page in ecommerce, yet they're often the least optimized. This 40+ page guide tackles that head-on with real tactics that go way beyond the typical "change your button color" advice we've all heard a million times.
Inside, you’ll find data-backed strategies unpacking how:
Funnel-specific PDPs can drive 8%+ conversion lifts for DTC giants like ARMRA
Guided question-based shopping can lift AOV in 75%+ of purchases
Behavioral trigger interventions can combat buyer hesitation, boosting CVR over 200%
Experimenting with the location of your CTA on your PDPs can increase RPS by 18%+
& a whole lot more.
The guide covers everything from trust signals and social proof to post-purchase flows and real-time personalization. Each chapter is contributed by specialists from industry leaders like Rep AI, Okendo, Smile.io, and others who are actually implementing these strategies with monster ecomm brands.
I also wrote a chapter myself. 😉
If you’re looking to squeeze more revenue out of existing traffic (hint: you should be), this is a tactical resource that can actually help you move the needle. Plus, it’s free. And that’s always a win in my book.

Marketing Against the Grain: The Great Content Collapse
Google used to send back two visits for every page they scraped from content publishers. Today? They're sending back one visit for every 18 pages scraped.
In this episode of Marketing Against the Grain, Kieran breaks down what he calls "the great content collapse", explaining how AI-powered search has triggered a complete breakdown of the traditional content-to-traffic exchange that's powered digital marketing for the past decade.
If you’re still investing in traditional content & SEO marketing to drive growth, I’d give this episode a listen. It’s a fascinating perspective on the shifting landscape.
🧰 Tool of the Week
Chat4Data
Web scraping has always been one of those tasks that sounds simple but requires either coding skills or expensive tools. That’s why Chat4Data rocks.
This Chrome extension works like "ChatGPT for web scraping" – you simply describe the data you want from any website in plain language, and it delivers a clean Excel file instantly. No coding, no complex setup, just natural language commands.
The tool is actually optimized for ecomm sites, so it can extract everything from product details and pricing to images, links, emails, and phone numbers. Whether you're researching competitor products, building supplier lists, or analyzing market trends, Chat4Data handles the heavy lifting.
Pricing-wise, new users get 1 million free tokens to test it out, and additional tokens cost just $1 per million. Very cost-effective, in my opinion.
